History of Navan Enterprise Centre

Navan Enterprise Centre was established in 1998 to develop what was formerly the Navan Exhibition Centre. The building was rundown and the site in poor condition, both in need of complete redevelopment.

With seed capital from Meath County Council and Navan Town Council and grant aid from Enterprise Ireland and the Meath County Enterprise Board the project got started.

After this the Centre became self-supporting and has gone on to expand on more than one occasion.

The original building inherited from the Exhibition Centre was 40,000 sq. ft. and this has now grown to 75,000 sq. ft. This was achieved in part by putting in first floors and also by the erection of a substantial extension.

There is some scope for further development and the Company intends to explore this when the economic climate improves.

The Company has traded profitably since its inception and used resources to develop the building and site.
